Dos and Don’ts while at Home during the COVID-19 Lock Down.
|1||Eat a Healthy and Nutritious Diet.||To help you immunity function well and fight off infections such as COVID-19.|
|2||Limit Alcohol and avoid Sugary Drinks||Can lead to liver damage and reduced immunity.|
|3||Do not smoke||Thus increases the risk of developing severe diseases if you become infected with COVID-19.|
|4||Exercise regularly at least 30 minutes a day for an adult and 1 hour for children.||To keep your body fit which is vital in preventing infection.|
|5||If allowed to go out for a run or ride a bike.||Keep a safe distance to reduce risk of infection from other people.|
|6||If you cannot leave home||Sing a song, dance to music, worship God or do house chores.|
|7||If working at home||Don’t sit in the same position for long hours. Get up and take a 3 minutes break every 30 minutes. This helps to keep you fit and free from other diseases.|
|8||Keep a healthy mind||By talking to people, neighbors, listening to music, watch news, read a book or help your children do their school work. This will keep you healthy in the mind and kill boredom.|
|9||Watch news||To stay informed of what is happening and dispel rumors especially about COVID-19.|
