Dos and Don’ts while at Home during the COVID-19 Lock Down.
# Do Why
1 Eat a Healthy and Nutritious Diet. To help you immunity function well and fight off infections such as COVID-19.
2 Limit Alcohol and avoid Sugary Drinks  Can lead to liver damage and reduced immunity.
3 Do not smoke Thus increases the risk of developing severe diseases if you become infected with COVID-19.
4 Exercise regularly at least 30 minutes a day for an adult and 1 hour for children. To keep your body fit which is vital in preventing infection.
5 If allowed to go out for a run or ride a bike. Keep a safe distance to reduce risk of infection from other people.
6 If you cannot leave home Sing a song, dance to music, worship God or do house chores.
7 If working at home Don’t sit in the same position for long hours. Get up and take a 3 minutes break every 30 minutes. This helps to keep you fit and free from other diseases.
8 Keep a healthy mind By talking to people, neighbors, listening to music, watch news, read a book or help your children do their school work. This will keep you healthy in the mind and kill boredom.
9 Watch news To stay informed of what is happening and dispel rumors especially about COVID-19.
