Dos and Don’ts while at Home during the COVID-19 Lock Down.

1 | Eat a Healthy and Nutritious Diet. | To help you immunity function well and fight off infections such as COVID-19. |
2 | Limit Alcohol and avoid Sugary Drinks | Can lead to liver damage and reduced immunity. |
3 | Do not smoke | Thus increases the risk of developing severe diseases if you become infected with COVID-19. |
4 | Exercise regularly at least 30 minutes a day for an adult and 1 hour for children. | To keep your body fit which is vital in preventing infection. |
5 | If allowed to go out for a run or ride a bike. | Keep a safe distance to reduce risk of infection from other people. |
6 | If you cannot leave home | Sing a song, dance to music, worship God or do house chores. |
7 | If working at home | Don’t sit in the same position for long hours. Get up and take a 3 minutes break every 30 minutes. This helps to keep you fit and free from other diseases. |
8 | Keep a healthy mind | By talking to people, neighbors, listening to music, watch news, read a book or help your children do their school work. This will keep you healthy in the mind and kill boredom. |
9 | Watch news | To stay informed of what is happening and dispel rumors especially about COVID-19. |
