Let Her Shine is a gender equality targeted initiative that addresses discriminatory gender norms, attitudes, practices and financial imbalances by empowering out of school AGYW (15–30 years) and their community gatekeepers with increased opportunities to SRHR information, vocational, financial, advocacy and leadership skills, as well as access to financial oppotunities in Mukono and Kampala districts.

PHAU with support from Aga Khan Foundation and Global Affairs Canada has been implementing the Let Her Shine project since October 2022 in Kampala (Makindye Division) and Mukono (Nama, Central and Goma) districts.

Through the Let Her Shine project, 50 Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) undertook trainings in Peer education, Vocational skilling (Tailoring and Hairdressing) as well Business enterprise and mindset change.
