Public Health Ambassadors Uganda was represented by the Team Leader Lillibet Namakula who took part in a panel discussion at the event. The panel theme was “Evidence in Action: Data driven advocacy for Sexual and Reproductive Health” and was organised by Guttmacher Institute.
Lillibet Namakula~ PHAU Team LeaderA huge thank you to the participants and panelists of the “Evidence in Action: Data driven advocacy for Sexual and Reproductive Health” session organised by @Guttmacher Institute. I am happy to report that the event was a success.
The mini breakout sessions we had offered an opportunity for me to engage and interact with a number of partners and delegates looking to learn more about how to use Storytelling for Advocacy.
Each of the delegates shared about the work they do and the strategies they use in advocacy and, together, we learned how to effectively incorporate Edutainment and Informative Performance Arts into our advocacy endeavors.
