Organization Level category
ICFP 2022 EXCELL AWARDS
Public Health Ambassadors Uganda was chosen to receive this award, as the organizations uses innovative and creative approaches that put young people at the center of creation, design, and planning and implementation of sexual and reproductive health and rights and HIV/AIDS prevention awareness programs. With over 11 million young people reached with integrated SRHR information, the organization has lasting impact throughout the region.
Photoshare People’s Choice Award 2018
In 2018, PHAU was the winner of the Photoshare People’s Choice Award selected through public voting. Photoshare People’s Choice Award was presented by Knowledge for Health and Girls Globe.
Annual Photoshare Photo Contest 2017
PHAU received an award for the 2017 Annual Photoshare Photo Contest by Knowledge for Health (K4Health) with media partner Girls Globe. One of the photos PHAU submitted from the “Ensonga” project was chosen as the winner. The award was made during the commemoration of the Menstrual Hygiene Day on 28th May 2017.
